The Club

Brunswick Dragon Fencing Club will be in operation in 2010. At the moment, the Club is between venues, having moved out of the Fencing Factory in East Brunswick at the end of 2009. For this reason, the Club is not currently offering classes. We recommend that those wishing to start fencing should go to www.fencingvictoria.org and find the club that suits their needs best.

A number of current members are also participating in Fencing Victoria’s Weapon Squad training sessions at the new State Training Centre in Arden St, North Melbourne. For more information about these, go to www.fencingvictoria.org

Notice of Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting will be held at 7.30pm on 17th February at 9, Foden Street, Brunswick West, 3055. All are welcome. Please bring along a plate or bottle to share.

Members may choose to purchase their own equipment.
We suggest that you might buy the items in the following order of priority:

Year of Fencing
Item
First year

Glove (provided to Beginners’ Class), Foil (or other weapon) and body wire

Second year

Mask, fencing jacket, fencing breeches
Third year


Lamé jacket, fencing bag
Fourth year Additional weapon(s) & body wire(s)
